For Dr. Katherine O’Hara, dentistry is about more than just clinical excellence—it’s about using the best modern tools to help her patients feel their best. From high-tech intra-oral imaging to laser treatments for facial pain relief, she blends innovation with a gentle, family-focused approach.
Dr. O’Hara’s roots run deep in the community. After moving to Ohio as a child and graduating from The Ohio State University, she returned to Dayton in 1995 to begin her career surrounded by the people she loves. Her commitment to the field is reflected in her active membership with the American Dental Association and local dental societies.
Life Outside the Office
While Dr. O’Hara is almost an empty nester, she currently shares her Centerville home with her husband, their dog, and one of her sons who is diligently navigating law school from the basement. With his move-out date set for this fall, she is looking forward to even more time for her favorite creative pursuits.
When she isn’t transforming smiles, you’ll likely find her painting, sewing, or planning her next relaxing trip to Florida. While her wakeboarding days may be in the rearview mirror, she stays active and enjoys the change of pace that comes with her evolving family life.
